UPSC doubt: free will, logic, and grinding for a gazette notification
Quick public doubt for everyone grinding in the Adda:- When you're sitting there burning through your youth, calories, and sleep for a gazette notification, are you actually choosing this path with free will, or is your 200,000 year old brain just tricking a cluster of decaying atoms into serving a bureaucratic machine on a dying rock for no reason?? Furthermore if you try to use logic to prove that logic is a reliable tool to find truth, you're caught in a circular fallacy but if logic isn't reliable, your entire UPSC prep, your reasoning, and your decision to read this are completely irrational. Since you can't step outside of logic to prove logic, why are you torturing yourself over a system built on a foundation you can't even mathematically verify???🤔🤔🤔 Discuss.

Tougher than typical mains question, but appreciate the amount of understanding needed to frame this question

@shv8055 Glad you caught that Sriharsha The real question is can a system built on unprovable foundational logic ever truly deliver justice or are we just rearranging variables on a sinking ship?????🤔🤔🤔

A job should be a part of life, not the purpose of life. Prepare, but don't forget to live

@mjshetty-1257 Easy to say from the sidelines MJ but if the entire architecture of the system is logically unverified telling someone 'not to forget to live"" while they sacrifice their youth to it is just a coping mechanism for the void💀💀💀💀
