Sociology: capitalism vs socialism and who holds economic power
In Sociology — Capitalism puts power in the hands of the CEO class. It is an authoritarian economic system where those at the top have absolute power over workers, and complete ownership of the profits generated by workers. Socialism puts power in the hands of the working class. It is a truly democratic economic system where workers own the means of production and manage themselves and their communities democratically. Under socialism profits are shared amongst workers while under capitalism profits are funneled to the CEO class off the backs of the working class. The biggest threat to the CEO class is the working masses understanding this simple truth, which is precisely why they own the media you consume and both parties you are told to vote for to ensure you continue to support the very system that enriches them at your expense.

The problem isn’t wealth itself, but a system where those who create the wealth often have the least power over it.
