@Laxmiprasad agr books se padh rhe hai to first reading me bs rough copy me main handing and subtopic likhte jao isse chap complete hone ke bd apke pass ek chap ka overview mind map hoga is chap me ye ye topic hai phir second reading me subtopic ke info ko highlights kro and in third reading jo apko imp lge ya lge ki you couldn't remember that specific point you write it down That's a method I use

You can start setting goals like today u have to complete 5 chapters of laxmikant. Then this way u can gradually cover the whole book. Keep making notes also so that next time u won't have to pick up entire book.

@rajmadhavi yes it means next time I can only read that notes which I have made from laxmikant

Watch videos first for concept understanding then in second round go for Note making

What you should do: 1. First reading = Just finish the book (don’t try to master it) Read like a newspaper Skip difficult lines No overthinking Target: complete Laxmikanth/Spectrum once 2. Second reading = Understanding + marking Now things will feel familiar Underline only important points Don’t make heavy notes 3. Third reading = Revision mode Focus only on highlighted parts This is where retention builds Important points: ✔ You don’t need to read every book 4–5 times ✔ 2–3 smart revisions are enough ✔ If videos help you understand first → use them, then read book ✔ NCERT comfort means your basics are good — that’s a positive sign
