Laxmikanth after first read: memorize book vs coaching notes for second pass
Guys, please guide me on how I should approach Laxmikanth. I have completed my first reading, and I’m confused about whether I should memorize the content from Laxmikanth or from my coaching notes (which are quite comprehensive). Also, should I make notes from Laxmikanth during my second reading?

Only 1 reading done? An avg aspirant reads it around 10-15 times

Read it again n again and keep making short notes to remember

@rathiprati ok thanks for your suggestion 😊

Polity is not a “memorization subject” for UPSC—it is a repetition + question pattern subject. If you revise Laxmikanth 3–4 times properly, you don’t need to “memorize”—you naturally retain it.
