Juvenile Justice Act 2015: Justice Nagarathna on ten years of JJ Act
Justice B.V. Nagarathna delivered the keynote address at the National Annual Stakeholders Consultation marking "Ten Years of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015: Progress, Challenges, and Priorities for the Next Decade." The event was organized by the Supreme Court’s Juvenile Justice Committee in collaboration with UNICEF. Her address underscored a foundational jurisprudential principle: "When a child breaks the law, the law must not break the child."
