Polity: Is governor appointment for legal immunity during CBI inquiry valid?
Is it constitutionally valid to appoint an individual as the Governor of a state to provide them with legal immunity while a CBI inquiry against them is already underway, or does such an appointment raise questions about constitutional propriety and accountability?

It's legal but Madam President must have said that let the CBI enquiry happen . Coz she can do only what Union cabinet led by PM ask her to do .

What can you expect when the Home Minister Amit Shah itself had 3 4 High profile Murder cases against him before becoming the HM of the country..Most MP have criminal charges against them...So it's not a surprise that a alleged rape suspect sits as a Governor in India. Every odd can become in our country..
